Aberdeen - Angus breed

The Aberdeen - Angus breed was established in the North-East region of Scotland, specifically the counties Aberdeen and Angus, which are rich in green meadows for this breed. The application of inbreeding and selection methods resulted in the Aberdeen - Angus breed with beneficial meat qualities.

The adaption of the Aberdeen-Angus breed to moderate to cold temperatures drives the cultivation of the breed in the USA, UK, South America, Australia and Europe.

The Aberdeen - Angus breed is opposing diseases and has hardly any needs in regards to feeding and housing conditions. Notably, the most outstanding asset of this breed is the good reproductive ability and excellent maternal characteristics. The maternal breed is ideal for cross-combinations.
